Cardiac involvement is a major determinant of prognosis in AL (light-chain) amyloidosis, a rare and potentially life-threatening disease. The CARES Trial evaluated Anselamimab – an antibody designed to target amyloid light-chain fibrils, with the goal of promoting cardiac amyloid clearance and potentially reversing tissue deposition.
