Khady Fall

Columbia University Medical Center | Physiology Manager

Dr. Khady Fall is a foreign Medical Doctor from Senegal (Cheikh Anta Diop Medical School) with over 18 years of experience in Cardiology Imaging at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC). She has a Master’s in Public Health (MPH) from CUNY School of Public Health, an Associate of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from New York University (NYU); and is registered in Diagnostic Cardiology Sonography (RDCS). Because about 80% of cases in the cathlab at CUMC, requires imaging and or physiology, this hospital is one of the few hospitals in the country that has a team specifically dedicated to that purpose. As head of the team, she oversees and trains yearly interventional cardiologists and fellows in Intra-Vascular imaging and Physiology. Her team works closely with the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) core lab under the supervision of Dr. Gary Mintz and Dr. Akiko Maehara. Dr. Fall is involved in several cardiology publications (more than 39) and cardiology research studies as well. In addition, she is also currently working on a Public Health Environmental study on radiation safety. Dr Fall covered the imaging sections of live catheterization cases during conferences such as CTO Summits, TCT among others. Moreover, she was a panelist in multiple conferences. Prior to the cathlab, she worked in the CUMC Echocardiography department, where she was responsible of the educational training of Fellows and Medical Students in Adult and Congenital Echocardiography.

Optimizing PCI (O-PCI) is a series of educational meetings dedicated to helping cardiologists optimize decision-making in interventional cardiac procedures using state-of-the-art intravascular imaging and physiology technologies.

Our renowned international faculty is committed to helping cardiologists master the interpretation of invasive diagnostic devices and treat them with precision, thus improving optimal patient outcomes.
