Dr. Ajit Mullasari, is the director of the Department of Cardiology, Madras Medical Mission for the past 12 years. He has 35 years of experience in the field of Cardiology with many accolades to his name like Young achievers of India – award 2002 conferred by CII, Lifetime Achievement Award 2011 for his contribution in Cardiology, Dr. Rama Varma Award 2015 instituted by Cochin Royal Family and many more. He is the adjunct professor at IIT Madras and at the Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland. He has been a FACULTY AT 32 INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS including renowned conferences like TCT, CCT, PCR etc… He has always been a pioneer in adopting and vouching for therapies which are close to his heart. This has led to formation of many knowledge sharing platforms like STEMI INDIA PROJECT, IPCI etc… He has been primary investigator for 22 clinical trials including Spirit V registry, Xience V india and Absorb Extend. His most Significant contribution has been Papers Published under his name - 156 as Primary Author, 21 as a part of Investigator group and mind boggling 205 Abstracts.
