Dr Bezerra is a world renew operator and researcher on the field of coronary intervention guided by intravascular imaging and physiology. He has over 200 peer review publications and applies intravascular imaging and physiology in the majority of his cases in a daily basis. He led the Cardiovascular Imaging Core Laboratories at HHVI in Cleveland for over 12 years and was responsible for various landmark trials analysis in the field of intravascular imaging and physiology including Ilumien I and Heartflow – NXT. Recently he moved to Tampa-Fl in the capacity of Director of the Interventional Cardiology Center at Tampa General Hospital and Professor at University of South Florida.
