Dr. Juhasz is a Research Fellow at the Cardiovascular Imaging Research Center (CIRC) at Massachusetts General Hospital, focusing on leveraging cardiac MRI in cardio-oncology trials. Since joining CIRC in November 2023, he has played a key role in the secondary analyses of the STOP-CA trial, including in-depth analyses of cardiac MRI-derived myocardial tissue markers and strain parameters. He also works on cardio-oncology projects aimed at mitigating radiation-induced cardiotoxicity in breast cancer patients, where he is actively involved in MRI scanning and post-processing. Dr. Juhasz completed his medical training at Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, in 2019. He is currently undertaking cardiology training at the Heart and Vascular Center of Semmelweis University - which is presently on hiatus - and concurrently pursuing a PhD at his home institution. His doctoral research focuses on advanced imaging and the role of blood biomarkers in the cardiovascular care of elite and recreational athletes. He has authored or co-authored more than 15 peer-reviewed publications and is a regular presenter at international scientific meetings.
