Timothy Carter

Timothy Carter, MD is a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in complex aortic surgery, valve repair, and pulmonary autograft (Ross) procedures. He serves as System Director of Aortic Surgery for Catholic Health on Long Island and Vice Chair of Cardiac Surgery at Good Samaritan University Hospital, where he leads high-volume open and transcatheter cardiac surgical programs. His clinical expertise includes valve-sparing aortic operations, advanced surgical management following transcatheter valve therapies and optimizing long-term outcomes for patients with aortic disease.
