Ruben de Winter

Ruben de Winter obtained his medical degree from VU University Amsterdam in 2019, where he developed a strong interest in Cardiology during his clinical rotations. He subsequently pursued a PhD under the supervision of Prof. Paul Knaapen, focusing on coronary hemodynamics, myocardial perfusion, and outcomes in advanced coronary artery disease and in patients with prior coronary artery bypass graft surgery, including work on the PROCTOR Trial. In 2024, he started as a resident in Cardiology at Amsterdam UMC. He is currently completing his internal medicine rotation.
