Dr. Généreux is an interventional cardiologist and internationally recognized leader in structural heart disease. He has been a practicing interventional cardiologist for more than 15 years. Dr. Généreux is the Director of the Structural Heart Program at Morristown Medical Center. Dr. Généreux has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials and has published more than 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the Principal Investigators of the EARLY TAVR trial and the PROGRESS trial, 2 major studies in the field of aortic valve disease. A celebrated clinical researcher since the beginning of his career, he was awarded the prestigious Thomas J. Linnemeier Spirit of Interventional Cardiology Young Investigator Award at the 2012 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium, and has been named a Highly Cited Researcher by the Clarivate™ Web of Science™ Group for the last 4 years. Dr. Généreux is also involved in multiples early-stage companies in the field of interventional cardiology and heart failure. Dr. Généreux received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada, his cardiology and interventional cardiology degree from Université de Sherbrooke and from Sacré-Coeur Hospital, Montreal, Canada, and performed his advanced interventional cardiology and structural heart fellowship at Columbia University, and Cardiovascular Research Foundation, in New York city.
