Niels Holm

Dr. Niels Ramsing Holm, MD is a full-time scientist currently employed at the Department of Cardiology, Aarhus University Hospital in Denmark. After five years of clinical training and residency in cardiology, Dr Holm continued with research focused on quantitative angiography, intravascular imaging techniques, stent evaluations, and PCI techniques, publishing more than 130 papers and giving numerous lectures within the field. His activities now include leading and coordinating international multicenter trials in a network of more than 80 heart centers. Dr. Holm has been supervisor for 20 PhD-students and research year students and is director and supervisor for the interventional coronary imaging core laboratory at his institution. Dr. Holm has joined multiple guideline committees and expert scientific committees on intravascular imaging and bifurcation PCI.
