Michael N. Young, MD, FSCAI, RPVI is an interventional cardiologist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) and appointed as an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine. Within Dartmouth Health, Dr. Young serves as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Structural Heart Disease Service, and Pulmonary Embolism Response Team. In complement to his clinical leadership roles, Dr. Young maintains a keen interest in healthcare delivery science, policy, and outcomes-based research. In 2020, he was awarded a SYNERGY research fellowship grant from The Dartmouth Institute (TDI) for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Since then, he has actively led investigator-initiated studies in conjunction with the Northern New England Cardiovascular Disease Study Group, Vascular Quality Initiative, and The Dartmouth Institute. He also serves as a site principal investigator for a number of pivotal clinical trials and post-market studies offered at DHMC. Dr. Young has been a recipient of multiple teaching awards from Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, Internal Medicine Residency, and Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship. Nationally, he serves on leadership councils for both the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention and the American College of Cardiology.
