Koshiro Sakai is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at Showa University School of Medicine (Tokyo, Japan) and a Research Fellow at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in New York. He also serves as the Director of the Intravascular Imaging Core Laboratory at Core Aalst (Aalst, Belgium). His clinical research interests focus on the combination of coronary artery imaging and physiological technologies, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), and flow wire assessment, to optimize coronary interventions.
