Jeffrey  Moses

Dr. Jeffrey W. Moses is an internationally recognized interventional cardiologist currently serving as Chairman of Cardiology at the St. Francis Heart Center at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, N.Y and Director of Advanced Cardiac Interventions at St. Francis Hospital & Heart Center in Roslyn, NY. In addition, he is John and Myrna Daniels Professor of Cardiology Emeritus at Columbia University Medical Center and serves on the Board of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, the principal sponsor of TCT (Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics) the world’s leading interventional cardiology conference. Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Moses has performed more than 30,000 interventional procedures, authored over 600 peer-reviewed publications, and led numerous pivotal national and international clinical studies. Notably, he served as the lead investigator of the landmark U.S. clinical trial that demonstrated the significant benefits of drug-eluting stents, leading to their FDA approval. This technology has since become a mainstay in the vast majority of interventional procedures performed across the country. Dr. Moses played a key leadership role on the Executive Committee of the PARTNER trial, which introduced the first transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedure to clinical practice in the U.S.—a breakthrough that revolutionized the treatment of aortic stenosis and transformed the field of structural heart interventions. In recognition of these achievements, Dr. Moses was awarded the prestigious Master Operator award at TCT 2024.
