Hayder Hashim

Hayder Hashim, MD, is an assistant professor of cardiology at Georgetown University and a full time interventional cardiologist at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. He has published his research in several peer reviewed journals and often gives presentations about his work at national and international meetings. He is dedicated to contributing to new and ongoing research efforts at Medstar Washington Hospital Center with a great passion for education and training of fellows . He is particularly interested in , plaque modification technologies, intravascular imaging and coronary physiology. Dr. Hashim is also board certified in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular medicine.
