Dipa Avichal

Dr. Dipa Avichal is a board-certified endocrinologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of hormonal and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, pituitary, adrenal, thyroid disease, obesity and lipid disorders. She received her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Avichal completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, followed by a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Stony Brook Medicine/University Hospital. Dr. Avichal is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, she has a strong clinical interest in the treatment of diabetes, thyroid disorders, lipid metabolism, and other complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. Dr. Avichal currently practices with Catholic Health Services of Long Island and St. Francis Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Avichal has also contributed to academic research, co-authoring publications on topics such as thyroid medication management and rare autoimmune conditions affecting endocrine health.
