David Marlevi is a postdoctoral fellow in cardiovascular medicine at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), working on vascular drug delivery systems and quantitative intravascular imaging in the Harvard-MIT Biomedical Engineering Center (the Edelman Lab), led by Prof. Elazer R Edelman. Originally from Sweden, Dr. Marlevi received his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and Karolinska Institute (KI) in Stockholm, working on non-invasive vascular ultrasound elastography. Currently, Dr. Marlevi is leading projects on lesion preparation systems in the Edelman Lab.
