Dr Christopher Rajkumar is an MRC-funded Clinical Research Training Fellow at Imperial College London and an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at Hammersmith Hospital. He has recently completed his PhD examining the symptomatic response to revascularisation in stable coronary artery disease. He is the first author of the randomized, placebo-controlled ORBITA-2 Trial. During his PhD, he also completed the n-of-1, placebo-controlled ORBITA-STAR study, which sought to identify predictors of response to revascularization. Dr Rajkumar trained at Imperial College London and was subsequently awarded competitive academic foundation and academic clinical fellowship appointments in the North-West London training rotation before being awarded his PhD fellowship. In 2023, he was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine’s Gold Medal President’s Prize for his research.
