Christian Spaulding, MD, PhD is an interventional cardiologist, Professor of Cardiology at the Paris Cité University and chief of the integrated catheterization laboratory of the European Hospital Georges Pompidou in Paris, France. Christian Spaulding earned his MD and cardiology certification from the Paris Cité University in Paris France and trained in interventional cardiology at the Heart Institute, Montreal, Canada and the Clinique Pasteur, in Toulouse, France. He is the author of more than 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts, including 3 in the New England Journal of Medicine as first author. His research topics are cardiac arrest, radial approach and techniques in interventional cardiology including drug eluting stents and balloons.
