Andrew D Berke, MD, has been an interventional cardiologist at St. Francis Hospital for over 30 years. He received his medical degree from Brown University. His postgraduate medical, cardiology, and interventional cardiology training were all at New York Presbyterian-Columbia, where he was also a full-time faculty member before entering private practice. He has been at the forefront of advances in interventional cardiology. His research interests and publications have spanned the gamut from TIMI to TAVI. Dr. Berke is looking forward to participating in future studies of intravascular imaging, integration of non-invasive modalities into the catheterization laboratory, and furthering catheter-based treatments for structural heart disease. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Fellow of the Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions.
